September 2016 – Inaugural ID Governance and Administration user group meeting

Ubusha and SailPoint today held the first South African Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) User Group Meeting. The IGA user group meeting offers an informal and enlightening environment where users of SailPoint IdentityIQ can share experiences and learn from each other.

“Ubusha are very glad to have hosted four of our financial services and telecommunications customers in open discussions around their experiences and lessons learnt in their Identity and Access Governance programmes. Their willingness to share openly about their approaches shows the exceptional focus we have in the South African information security industry on improving the ability to govern user access,” says Andrew Whittaker, Ubusha.

“Customer satisfaction is paramount to SailPoint’s business strategy, and our customers fully recognise the value of putting identity at the centre of their security strategies,” said Peter Hunter, Territory Manager of SailPoint South Africa. “SailPoint’s customers will benefit from a robust user group ecosystem to make sure organisations are sharing best practice ideas, during and after they purchase our solutions. We’re honoured that our customers choose to go to market with us and Ubusha, and are pleased with the feedback from the user group,” says Hunter.
