What it takes

We protect our culture fiercely and are very selective about those that get to join our team. To be considered for any position at Altron Security, you need to be smart, eager to learn and teach, deeply technical and highly creative and adaptable. You also need to be an RSA citizen/resident, have your own reliable transport and be able to translate technical information to business language and conversation. We have offices in various locations, but most of our technical resources work at our clients’ premises – this changes frequently and at short notice, so flexibility is key. We believe that people’s knowledge, interest, aptitude and attitude outweigh a formal qualification, so unless you’re applying to our Graduate Program this is not critical. Neither is the colour of your hair or eyes. We will however need to do criminal and credit checks and a qualification check, where applicable.

Engagement Manager

The Engagement Manager supports assigned client/s in Altron Security’s delivery of products and business capabilities across the organisation, overseeing multiple projects and delivery across multiple products. The role provides an overarching focus on the management of relationships: horizontally between the customer, vendor and Altron Security as well as vertically between client stakeholders in business, risk, audit, technical teams and support areas. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring client’s strategic objectives are addressed and value realisation is achieved and thus the role transcends specific projects.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Related business management tertiary qualification will prove advantageous
  • Project Management certification (PMP, Prince 11)

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience managing the delivery of enterprise projects , of which, minimum 7 years’ experience at a Solutions Delivery company, of which, minimum 2 years’ experience in the field of Identity and Access Management
  • Multi-vendor/technology experience
  • Proven ability to engage at C-suite level, guide the focus of clients to creating strategic goals or roadmaps that address key business objectives and needs and participate in the successful conclusion of commercial negotiations
  • Demonstrated ability to build high-performance teams and contribute to the growth of revenue and profitability through leadership of client and internal team efforts
  • Strong interpersonal skills with sound experience in handling tough client negotiation/conflict conversations

Solutions Consultant

Working closely with Business Development the Consultant is responsible for clearly defining customer needs, making appropriate recommendations and leads the design effort on a variety of projects in a highly collaborative environment. This includes analysing, planning, researching and evaluating solutions. In addition to developing specifications the Consultant is also be responsible for the development/customisation/integration and implementation of the solution as well as providing both internal and external post-implementation support as well as administering training and mentoring team members whilst managing the full development cycle forms a critical part of this role.

  • Solution specification and scoping
  • Customise software solutions
  • Architecture development,  implementation and support

Minimum requirements:

  • Solution consulting work experience relevant to ICT cyber security, identity and access management (IAM), privileged access management (PAM), federated identity management (SAML/OAuth/SSO) and, or data governance.
  • Vendor/product experience in SailPoint, CyberArk, PingIdentity, Microfocus/NetIQ, RSA Aveksa, Varonis, Centrify, CA Technologies, Silverfort and Axiomatics will be highly advantageous.
  • Experience in role mining, role-based access control and access certification processes, procedures and reporting.
  • Knowledge of database management systems (Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, etc), operating systems (UNIX/Linux (Redhat/Suse) and Windows), development environment/languages (J2EE, Java, PL/SQL), active directory administration and information security regulation.
  • Relevant vendor/professional certifications and accreditations and academic qualifications.

Support Consulting skills

We employ operations support Consultants at various levels of proficiency to maintain technical infrastructures that support customer installations, systems and services. Interfacing efficiently and building rapport with our clients to support us in successfully managing client relationships and SLA’s is a primary objective of this role. Duties may include:

  • Manage and monitor implemented solutions; diagnose, investigate and resolve incidents and manage vendor service requests
  • Create, delete, lock and unlock systems accounts; perform data analysis and generate reports
  • Ensure dev, QA and prod environments are adequately managed
  • Back-up and restore system components and execute disaster recovery processes
  • Support business development activities and work alongside solutions Consultants to implement new and enhanced solutions
  • Ensure achievement of SLA’s
  • Documentation, reporting and administration

Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following:

  • Technical work experience in the implementation and support of identity security software solutions
  • Vendor/product experience in SailPoint, CyberArk, PingIdentity, Microfocus/NetIQ, RSA Aveksa, Varonis, Centrify, CA Technologies, Silverfort and Axiomatics
  • Knowledge of database management systems (Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, etc), operating systems (UNIX/Linux (Redhat/Suse) and Windows), development environment/languages (J2EE, Java, PL/SQL), active directory administration and information security regulations
  • Scripting in a Linux environment and/or an Active Directory and familiarity with Weblogic and LDAP
  • Relevant vendor/professional certifications and accreditations and academic qualifications
